Nora Maiden is Asst. Pastor & Asst. CEO at Garden of Eden Ministry, Diboll, TX, founded by Rev. Glenda Butler, Sr. Pastor. She graduated from Diboll High School. She holds a B.S.D. (Interdisciplinary Studies) from SFA University in Nacogdoches, TX. She later earned a Christian Counseling Certificate from Light Learning Institute.
She currently resides in Austin, TX. She graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, in May 2013 with a Master's Degree in Family Marriage & Counseling. She went on to earn an M.A. in Human Services. She will complete an M.A. in Management & Leadership in Fall 2015. She has written her first book, titled A Practice Guide to Christian Maturity & Love. Nora has published her second book, titled The World & My Self In It.
Her mission in life is to eliminate hate, racism and sexism, and help improve the conditions of people in poverty due to oppression, a lack of social justice and political change. Her main interests and passions in life are painting, writing poetry and songs and performing at some of the open mics in the Austin metro-area. She loves life. She loves love. She loves her family. But most of all, she loves God!
